Hi there! My name is Cami. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor; I received my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Grand Canyon University in 2016. I grew up in Sanpete County and graduated from both Manti High School and Snow College. I then went on to receive my B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences and Secondary Education through Utah State University. After completing my Master's Degree, I worked as a therapist for Snow College and for a clinic specializing in working with children and adults who have been through trauma. I moved to Cedar City in 2017 and have enjoyed running a private practice.
I have experience treating depression, anxiety, and trauma. I utilize an eclectic approach to tailor the therapeutic experience to the needs of each individual, and have been trained in several therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, TF-CBT, Sand Tray Therapy, and basic CBT. I regularly take the opportunity to attend new trainings and learn new modalities to better serve the needs of the people I work with. I have a passion and desire to make a positive difference in the lives of other people. I love helping people utilize their strengths to make progress toward who they want to be. My free time is spent gardening, camping, reading, cooking, and simply being outside. I love going on adventures with my husband and our dogs. We especially enjoy the outdoors and exploring the mountains. So far, I have enjoyed living in Southern Utah, and I am excited to continue discovering all that this area has to offer. |
I am passionate about what I do and thoroughly enjoy helping others reach their goals. I believe that everyone can improve their lives with a little bit of help. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
I look forward to meeting you!
